Debbie Paris the hygienist/dental therapist was absolutely amazing with me today. She done a filling and I honestly was so anxious to the lead up but felt so comfortable in the chair I almost dozed off! The nurse Jess was so lovely too. Incredible service. I had a wisdom tooth extracted, in my view a major thing to have done. I have had two taken out previously by other dental practices on the mainland. This was by far the best experience. There was no rush to get on and get the tooth out, the dentist made sure all was numb before starting. Even though I take blood thinners, there was minimal bleeding. Yes, my mouth feels a bit bruised afterwards, but this is to be expected in such a procedure and is less than I have had before. Everyone was caring and made sure I was looked after. – August 2022

I have been a patient at St James for many years and have always had good treatment from professional and friendly staff. I am in Denplan which reduces the cost considerably. I like the “preventative” approach of the practice which heads off problems before they become acute and keeps my teeth looking and feeling the best they can. I never feel anxious about going to St James because I know I will be treated with care and understanding.
The support staff were confident in their work; and the dentist kept me informed at all times regarding the procedures and costs. This was the first time I went private, and for the experience, I would say it was money well spent.
As a nervous patient I was really put at my ease. Everyone was so kind . I didn’t have to wait long for follow up appointments either.

I really love this dentist. I’m usually quite anxious when going to see a dentist but Dr Martin went out of his way to assure I felt at ease and was happy to answer my hundreds and thousands of questions about treatments. I am an extremely anxious person when visiting the dentist & so hadn’t been in years…until I had a broken tooth. From the moment I made the initial phone call to the tooth coming out I cannot fault the professionalism of all the staff involved. From the receptionist to the dental assistants to the dentist herself, I cannot speak highly enough of them. The care is so good that I actually made another appointment (hygienist)! Admit you are anxious & they will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The environment is relaxed as well. I have already recommemded this clinic to others & have no doubt that, if used, will also praise the staff.

Absolutely fantastic service! I needed an urgent appointment recently, I phoned at 10.30am and by 2.30pm I had received a three root canal filling on a molar that was very painful.
I went to St James Clinic on Friday 16 August. Dr Martin and his assistant Lucy were amazing. Very empathetic, caring and attentive. Always asking me if I was okay. I would and will recommend St James Clinic to anyone who needs a dentist.
